Ivenka’s Story:
Ivenka's father abandoned her mother before Ivenka's birth. Ivenka was born into the hands of charity. Her mother and siblings were living with a family offering up good will. Ivenka's mother did not want to continue to beg for handouts, so she tried to find work here and there, but it just wasn't enough to support all of her children. Ivenka came to Espwa in hopes of finding more stability.
Ivenka is in kindergarten and loves to talk. She loves playing hopscotch with her friends, as well as jump rope. When she grows up she wants to be a nurse.
